Church of Scientology Mission Grand Opening in Upland, California

The city of Upland is located in a beautiful area southeast of Los Angeles at the base of the San Gabriel Mountains. The broad array of public attending the grand opening of the mission in their city were pleased to hear Mission Director and long-time Scientologist, Sarah Jonic, talk about her personal commitment to providing Church programs to this community that will help it expand and prosper. She also announced to members of the community attending the celebration that her new mission plans to implement programs for youth, which was particularly well received by local residents.

The Chairman of the Business Development Committee for the Pasadena Chamber of Commerce and the Deputy Executive Director for Church of Scientology of Pasadena also spoke about how the Upland Mission will help the local community.

After the speeches and ribbon cutting ceremony, the public spent several hours touring the mission. The most popular attraction were the array of beautiful display panels and accompanying videos introducing and explaining the Dianetics and Scientology fundamental principles.
